Scholar in Residence weekend in Savannah

My scholar-in-residence weekend in Savannah at Congregation Mickveh Israel started with my talk last night on “The Artistic Journey of Marc Chagall.”

And tonight I will be speaking on “Religious Liberty and Jews in Colonial and Revolutionary America.”

And tomorrow morning I will speak on “How Lox Became Jewish and Other Surprises in Jewish Cuisine.”
