Kristallnacht Stolpersteine

Today (11.11) in the German city of Weiden, a Stolpersteine (“stumble stone”) was installed in memory of my cousins’ grandfather, Hermann Fuld. Fuld was arrested on Kristallnacht (11.9.38) and murdered a few nights later by an SS guard In Dachau. There are now over 100,000 memory stones in place across Europe, mostly Germany. Today’s events were inspired by Weiden High School students who researched their town’s Nazi past. Never again!
